This thing will say it has a full charge, sometimes you pick it up and the whole thing just dies, like an instant battery discharge, other times, you pick it up and it will drop one bar instantly, and that is when of course it actually charges, it gets hung up when you drop it in the base and won't connect to charge like 50% of the time.I finally threw mine in the trash, worst investment I have ever made, also the called id will not show you the number when you scroll through the call log, you have to dial it and look at it really quick before anybody answered and then hang up just to see the number that called. I got this phone because it was new technology and thought it would be better, bought Philips because I thought it would be a quality product. Trust me people this thing is a total peice of Dung.
We verified this by using our old handset. The voice seems to crack in all of the calls. But our peice is either defective or phone has a issue. I bought this item and used for around 2 weeks. The caller at the other hand wasn't able to hear us properly. rest of the Features are good and easy.
Don't waste your money and aggravation on these. Last night a 30 minute conversation cost 2 hang-ups and went through 3 of the handsets before switching to my cell. This is the worst phone ever. The handsets are always just dropping the calls for no reason. I've had them for about 8 months and think an electronic recyler can get more use out of them.
Buy them from a reputable store that will take them back.Test them for there charge holding ability and if they aren't up to snuff take 'em back for a refund FAST.Good luck. I've got many (too many) of these phones and none of them ever were up to specifications as far as talk time and stand-by time. The features and audio are good. you may need it.
Its been 4 months and I am ready to just throw it out. This is the worst phone I have ever had. I have changed batteries twice, people on the other line can't hear you, caller id & answering machine stinks.
